This is my 10th album with Arlen, a long-awaited project conceived by Arlen and Jerry over 30 years ago which finally came to fruition. Two giants of American Blues and Soul have recreated timeless R&B, Soul, Motown and Stax classics with a fresh perspective.
The album has debuted and stayed in the top 10 of Roots Music Report for radio airplay and sales for 13 weeks, as well as numerous press accolades.
A stellar group of world-renowned musicians, including Chris Parker on drums, Joe Louis Walker on guitar and vocals, Bruce Katz on organ and piano, the famed Uptown Horns, Tom Gage on guitar, Lexie Roth on background vocals and a newcomer Mukamuri on lead vocals have contributed to the sound of this wonderful album, that I am ecstatic to have been deeply involved in.
